Business Lecture!!!

Hi again
Sherry I’m sorry, I did not see the plog about business lecture.
Actually I don’t remember much but I should say that it was not what I expected. I’d thought It is going to be about business fundamentals or some kind of introduction not some thing really specific. Maybe because I was absent the day before that and I just heard that it is about business and marketing. In spite of that, it was an interesting topic and also he could explain it were well.
I think I’m finish bloging, I responded to all the questions, also to others’ answers. Yeeey.
See you

Presentation Experiance

Hi everybody
For those of you that you said I talked too fast, is should say that, I’m sorry but it has 2 reasons: 1. I usually do talk fast but clear even in my first language and since I really hate if some one talk slowly and say hem.. em.. and make pauses between his worlds, I try not to do that. 2. I try to improve my accent and make it more similar to American accent, it is really important for me.
Anyway, I tried my best in order to make my presentation accessible with simple examples and explanation. But of course it was a technical topic. I could not make it easier, for example speak about how to use your cells. This is some thing that everyone knows and it was not what I wrote about. I hope you liked that.
For myself, it was ok and I’m happy with that. I like giving presentation; it was another chance to practice more.
Have a good weekend.

Research Paper Experience

Hi
I’m sorry, I’m a little bit late for this blog, although only 2 or 3 people responded on this one.
I should say that, even though a research project takes time and energy a lot, since I had such an experience before, it was not that surprising for me. Besides, it was relevant to my field of study, so I was interested. Anyway, it made me tired in the very last week especially in details correction and references, but still, it was a good practice. Obviously, we will have so many other projects in our own fields which are going to be much harder, so for now there is no need to go back and think what else we would do, we can considered it for next projects ;) . Of course, I should thank Scott for helping me on the project too. I hope you like my presentation. I will try my best to make it as interesting as possible.
Good luck on your big presentation every one.

Discrimination

Hi every body
Did you like this chapter, discrimination? I liked that, especially because it didn’t have any writing ;). JK. Anyway, discrimination simply is differentiation in a group of people in any case that results in unfair treatment of others. Examples of social discrimination include racial, religious, sexual, weight, disability, ethnic, height-related, employment discrimination and age-related discrimination.
The practice that the teacher did on the video was really smart. I think, during childhood is the best time to teach or influence on children. Personally, I am against discrimination, but I think some of the things, that some people call them discrimination, are based on a true fact, just sometimes people exaggerate in saying that.
Since I don’t want to make an argument, I won’t go through any example that may lead to misunderstanding.
Have a good time.

Population

Actually, I should say that I might not understand the question very well. But I think it is asking that, according to the information, why we can still be optimistic about the population problem in the future? Am I right?
Well, in my own opinion, this expression is not true and I don’t think that this problem can be solved so soon. Because there are so many countries in the world that their people do not aware of the family planning or this kind of stuff and they are still superstitious. It takes so more than that we think, in order to inform those people and after that convince them to accept the fact. Do not conceder Canada, US or Europe. So I do not feel optimistic.
But according to the information, we saw in the video that in India and Kenya, after applying the family planning and informing people, the average of children per woman is decreased to 3-4. Or in China, Japan and US we are not facing this problem any more. So that makes some people to be optimistic about the future.

Improving Academic Performance

Hi everybody
We have given a text about Improving Academic Performance which I believe it is very useful especially for those how think they have problems in concentration or they do not know how to study. If you haven’t red that yet, make sure you do; it was interesting. I gave the right answers to the questions at the beginning of the text; so I may already have had the necessary skills.
Anyway, I red it and it was an easy to understand text. The 4 main points that it discussed was, study habits, reading skills, getting more out of lectures and memory principals. Form the points that have been mentioned in the first one, I just don’t write the time table down. I managed my works when I have them, weakly. I don’t like to write, so I have them in mined. The rest are the things that I usually do so I don’t have any problem.
If you have gone through the documents, you should have seen that in the Appling Memory Principles section were so many good ways in order to memorize and remember some thing. I am sure that everyone practices at list one of those ways, except a few of them such as, Rhymes. I think since our first language in not English, we are not familiar with many of these old tricks so it may not be practical for us.

Good Luck

Research paper

Hi everyone
Same as everybody I am working on my research project which is about personal wireless communication. Since my topic is something very technical and relatively new, mostly I should use articles and few books form the professors who are working in this field currently. So far I have found many articles relevant to my topic, I also talked with one of my professors in my previous university in order to find some new information and he guided me through this project.

I’ll try to finish my reading in this weekend and start listing the information and tittles.
I am thinking about some points such as how mobile communication is done, how we can use our mobile internationally with out disconnection, how companies make benefits form them and how mobile systems affect our lives.

So what do you think about this topic? Does it sound interesting for you or not? I would be happy to hear your opinion and please let me know if you have any information or any comments.

I look forward to hearing from you.
