Discrimination
Did you like this chapter, discrimination? I liked that, especially because it didn’t have any writing ;). JK. Anyway, discrimination simply is differentiation in a group of people in any case that results in unfair treatment of others. Examples of social discrimination include racial, religious, sexual, weight, disability, ethnic, height-related, employment discrimination and age-related discrimination.
The practice that the teacher did on the video was really smart. I think, during childhood is the best time to teach or influence on children. Personally, I am against discrimination, but I think some of the things, that some people call them discrimination, are based on a true fact, just sometimes people exaggerate in saying that.
Since I don’t want to make an argument, I won’t go through any example that may lead to misunderstanding.
Have a good time.

Population
Well, in my own opinion, this expression is not true and I don’t think that this problem can be solved so soon. Because there are so many countries in the world that their people do not aware of the family planning or this kind of stuff and they are still superstitious. It takes so more than that we think, in order to inform those people and after that convince them to accept the fact. Do not conceder Canada, US or Europe. So I do not feel optimistic.
But according to the information, we saw in the video that in India and Kenya, after applying the family planning and informing people, the average of children per woman is decreased to 3-4. Or in China, Japan and US we are not facing this problem any more. So that makes some people to be optimistic about the future.
Improving Academic Performance
Hi everybody
We have given a text about Improving Academic Performance which I believe it is very useful especially for those how think they have problems in concentration or they do not know how to study. If you haven’t red that yet, make sure you do; it was interesting. I gave the right answers to the questions at the beginning of the text; so I may already have had the necessary skills.
Anyway, I red it and it was an easy to understand text. The 4 main points that it discussed was, study habits, reading skills, getting more out of lectures and memory principals. Form the points that have been mentioned in the first one, I just don’t write the time table down. I managed my works when I have them, weakly. I don’t like to write, so I have them in mined. The rest are the things that I usually do so I don’t have any problem.
If you have gone through the documents, you should have seen that in the Appling Memory Principles section were so many good ways in order to memorize and remember some thing. I am sure that everyone practices at list one of those ways, except a few of them such as, Rhymes. I think since our first language in not English, we are not familiar with many of these old tricks so it may not be practical for us.
Good Luck

Research paper
Same as everybody I am working on my research project which is about personal wireless communication. Since my topic is something very technical and relatively new, mostly I should use articles and few books form the professors who are working in this field currently. So far I have found many articles relevant to my topic, I also talked with one of my professors in my previous university in order to find some new information and he guided me through this project.
I’ll try to finish my reading in this weekend and start listing the information and tittles.
I am thinking about some points such as how mobile communication is done, how we can use our mobile internationally with out disconnection, how companies make benefits form them and how mobile systems affect our lives.
So what do you think about this topic? Does it sound interesting for you or not? I would be happy to hear your opinion and please let me know if you have any information or any comments.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott's Lecture
For those who miss it, I should say that it was mainly about the differences between Male & Female’s ways of communication. He explained some different studies and examples, similar to that you saw on the video today, for better understanding.
I thought it would be more formal, but I really enjoyed. It was easy to understand and follow, also we could feel that in our own personality and life.
I think every one should have liked that.
Thank you Scott.

Happiness
What an interesting topic and question. Actually this question has always been on of the essay’s question not only in my school period but also in TOEFL or English classes and I don’t know way? Is it really hard to answer or what?
Anyway, I think we all born happy, even though in stories is common that people say a new born baby cry because she is sad that she comes to this world and she don’t what to or what ever. For me it’s a fiction like others. On the other hand I believe on destiny. People have different lives because of their destiny and also their own trying for progression.
I agree that money can’t buy happiness. We see so many people around that although they are so rich and famous; they are neither happy nor satisfied. In fact they don’t know what they want, what make them happy and never feel welfare and prosperity. Yet in my opinion without money we won’t be satisfied as well. I should say maybe beside love, faith and effort, money has an important role in happiness.
Anyway I’m so interested in this topic to see what other opinions and new ideas are.
See you
